WHAT IT IS:
The Foundation SX Ethernet is the entry point to Synergistic Research's Ethernet line, for the run from your router or switch to your streamer.
HOW IT WORKS:
According to Synergistic Research:
- UEF compound from SR's flagship Galileo SX Active Ground Block, for a lower noise floor and more holographic realism than other Foundation cables.
- Three-stage high-voltage process first developed for SR's HDSX Ground Cables. SR says it raises both resolution and musicality, two traits that usually trade off against each other.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Conductors: 8 x UEF CAT 7, 23 gauge solid copper
- Geometry: 4 twisted pairs
- Dielectric: solid polyethylene
- Maximum frequency: 500 MHz
- Shielding: silver Mylar with Quantum Tunneled Ground Plane, Foundation UEF Graphene shielding
- Termination: 16 hand-crimped point-to-point connections
