The Synergistic Research Network Router UEF creates a separate, isolated network just for your audio system. Your existing modem or router keeps running the rest of the house, while the Router UEF feeds your streamer and other audio components from its own, cleaner network.
HOW IT WORKS:
According to Synergistic Research, the Router UEF starts with a high-performance router circuit and adds the same noise-conditioning technology SR uses in its other digital and power products:
SR linear power supply in place of the noisy switch-mode supply found in typical routers.
Electromagnetic conditioning cell and a passive ground conditioner.
ULF generator: SR's Dual Frequency Ultra-Low Frequency generator, which SR says works with the Earth's Schumann Resonance.
Mechanical tuning: a billet aluminum and carbon fiber chassis, carbon fiber footers, and SR Carbon Tuning Discs.
SR says the result is a lower noise floor, with a more open, holographic presentation.
SETUP NOTES:
Connect the Router UEF's IN port to your existing modem, router, or switch. Your audio gear then connects to the Router UEF.
No built-in Wi-Fi. If you need wireless (for example, for a control app on your phone or tablet), SR recommends adding a separate Wi-Fi access point (not a Wi-Fi router), such as the NETGEAR WAX214.
SR designed the Router UEF to be used with an SR Ethernet Switch UEF. See the Ethernet Switch UEF Mk II.
